Object Optimizer terms of use

These terms apply to the Migra BIM Object Optimizer, an app sold through Hotmart and developed by Migra BIM (Escola de Treinamento Ltda., Brazilian company tax ID 36.245.788/0001-43). By buying and installing the app, you agree to what is here. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

1. What the license allows

The license is perpetual for the edition you bought, for personal use, non-transferable, issued in the name of one individual or one firm. It gives you the right to install and use the app to convert models into Archicad objects, including on commercial projects, with no limit on the number of objects.

2. Registration and the name on the license

The first time it opens, the app asks for the name that will go on the license, the email used for the purchase and the tax ID. That name is stored in the license and appears as the author of the objects you create. It cannot be changed by the customer; Migra BIM may change it at its discretion, on proof, for example after a typing error or a change of registered name.

3. Simultaneous use and switching computers

Each key allows one simultaneous use: the app can be installed on more than one computer, but only one of them can use the license at a time. Closing the app releases the license straight away. If the computer in use goes offline, the slot stays reserved for it for up to 3 days; another computer can take the license by clicking "Use on this computer". Keys issued with more than one simultaneous use, for firms, follow the number agreed at purchase.

4. Activation and internet

Registration, key activation and use of the app require an internet connection, because the app checks the license against the Migra BIM site. With no connection it carries on saving objects for up to 3 days; after that it works again as soon as it reconnects.

5. Getting the key

After you register, Migra BIM checks the purchase on Hotmart and sends the key by email within one business day. In the meantime the app runs in full for 5 days. Keep the key: it is personal and it is the proof of your license.

6. Archicad versions and updates

The app produces objects for the Archicad versions listed on the product page. Fixes to the current edition are distributed free through the Hotmart members area. There is no guarantee of compatibility with future Archicad versions, nor of a free upgrade to a new edition of the app.

7. What is not allowed

• Distributing, reselling, lending or sharing the app, the installer or the license key.
• Using the same key on more computers at once than the license allows, or circumventing the usage control.
• Modifying, decompiling or reverse-engineering the app.
• Removing or altering the authorship information stored in the objects.

8. Cancellation and guarantee

The purchase carries a 7-day guarantee through Hotmart, with a full refund and no reason required. If you are refunded, the key is cancelled and the app stops saving objects. Migra BIM may also cancel the key in cases of sharing, use contrary to these terms or fraud in the purchase, with no right to a refund.

9. Third-party components

The app uses open-source components and third-party libraries. The license of each one is listed in the installer and on the app’s "About" screen.

10. Personal data

The data the app sends to the site, what it is for and how long it is kept are described in the "Object Optimizer" section of the Privacy Policy. Your .skp files and the objects produced never leave your computer.
